Northwest League North Title Goes to Dust Devils
Friday, August 20th, 1982
The Tri-City Dust Devils may not have ever won a Round 1, but you wouldn't have guessed it from looking inside their clubhouse today.
The club celebrated its Northwest League North championship like they've been hosting such festivities for a long time.
"Our team may not have ever won a championship, but we know how to party," said starting pitcher John Martinez. "This is nothing compared to what you'll see if we can win the Round 1."
The club's 40-26 record led to the franchise's 2nd division crown.
