Week's Best Player Honored by NWL Monday, August 23rd, 1982 Bruce Castoria captured all the headlines last week and today he added to his booty with the Northwest League Player of the Week trophy. The Lewiston Broncs first baseman hammered league hurlers for 10 hits in 27 at-bats, a .370 average and 3 home runs. He also collected 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this year in 68 games Castoria is hitting .235 with 14 home runs, 51 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
