Nuggets End Carrasco's Streak Tuesday, August 31st, 1982 Norm Carrasco's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 33 games today as the Bellingham Mariners dropped their contest with the Medford Nuggets 10-5 at Miles Field. Carrasco failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Carrasco spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. So far this season Carrasco has no home runs and a .354 batting average. |
