NWL Choice for Batter of the Month is Black Wednesday, September 1st, 1982 In the month of August Jonathan Black thumped the ball with authority, earning Northwest League Batter of the Month honors in the process. Kennewick's right fielder hit .433 with 18 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 39 runs. So far this season Black is batting .367 with 36 home runs, 87 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has 103 hits in 281 at-bats, 45 walks and a .462 OBP. Black has played in 71 games. |
