Great Stroke: Marin Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, September 1st, 1982 No matter what the Bellingham Mariners threw him today, Julio Marin hit it. The 19-year-old Lewiston Broncs catcher racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats today at Rage Ballpark and led the Broncs to a 16-7 victory. Julio Marin grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jay Samuel in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Mark Fellows in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th.
