Medford's Horner Will Miss Season

The season is ending on a bad note for John Horner, reliever for the Medford Nuggets. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Horner was hurt against the Walla Walla Walleyes while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 5 months.

So far this season, in 5 relief appearances Horner has compiled an ERA of 7.11. He has pitched 6.1 innings, struck out 8, walked 2 and registered no saves.
