Kiesling on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, July 26th, 1982 It was announced today by the New York-Pennsylvania League that Batavia right fielder Larry Kiesling had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Batavia right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .455 average (5-for-11) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. For the season Kiesling has hit .295 with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. He has played in 26 games and scored 19 times. |
