Brower Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, August 4th, 1982 Red Legs right fielder Bob Brower has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-3 in today's game against the Williamsport Greys. Geneva won the ballgame 5-3. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Bob Brower struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. So far this year Brower has 2 home runs and a .331 batting average. |
