Gott Fires 2-0 Shutout in Pheasants Win Sunday, August 29th, 1982 It was a smooth and solid performance by Jim Gott of the Bozeman Pheasants against the Billings Mustangs today. He crafted a fine 5-hitter to blank the Mustangs 2-0. He chalked up 13 strikeouts and 1 walk along the way. "It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Bozeman skipper . "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy." This year Gott has a 17-5 mark in 24 starts with a 2.11 ERA. He has given up 141 hits in 205 innings, struck out 203 and issued 51 walks.
