PINL News: The Offseason Begins Tuesday, September 21st, 1982 It's time to put another PINL season in the ledger. General managers must make key personnel and financial decisions during the offseason. A lot will be happening -- trades or player signings could send shock waves throughout the league. Hirings, firings and retirings will happen over the next several months. But most important, general managers must choose a direction and steer their teams as well as they can toward a championship berth next season.
