Sand Crabs Flame Out Against McCaskill, Pirates Friday, July 16th, 1982 Port Arthur hurler Kirk McCaskill put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Galveston Sand Crabs with a 4-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 13 strikeouts and 4 walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Galveston manager told reporters after the game.
