GULF's Top Pitcher in July Is Mooneyham Sunday, August 1st, 1982 The Gulf Coast League announced today that Bill Mooneyham has been chosen the league's Pitcher of the Month. The Galveston starter had everything working for him last month as he glided to a 5-0 record. In July Mooneyham chalked up a 1.31 ERA in 48 innings with 48 strikeouts and 34 walks. Checking out his stats for the season, Mooneyham has registered 8 wins and no losses in 9 starts, 1.49 ERA and struck out 75 batters in 72.2 innings. |
