Santa Domingo Colonials Win Top Spot in Carribbean Division Sunday, January 17th, 1982 The manager of the Santa Domingo Colonials said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's Carribbean Division championship. "This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," he said. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager." It's the club's 2nd division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 1st Championship Series. "We want that title badly," said starting pitcher Rich Rodas as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start." |
