No Late-Season Magic Coming: Limon Out of Playoffs Monday, January 18th, 1982 While the Limon Calypsos clubhouse is normally a jovial and upbeat place, things were extremely solemn today. That's because the club is now officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Calypsos have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 11 years as a South of the Border franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 12th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1968. |
