Myers Hurls Manatees to 4-0 Shutout Win Monday, January 18th, 1982 Randy Myers of the La Ceiba Manatees was masterful today, pitching a 3-hit shutout, 4-0, against the Port-au-Prince Pirates. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by La Ceiba manager . "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Myers had 10 strikeouts and 3 walks in the outing. This season Myers has compiled a 5-4 mark with a 6.08 ERA in 12 starts.
