Shea Holds Nassau Hitless
Sunday, January 3rd, 1982
Kenneth Shea of the Santa Ana Cafes was the King of the Hill today at Sails Ballpark.

The Santa Ana starter dominated the Nassau Black Sails, giving up zero hits in his 4-0 victory.

"The toughest part was the last couple of innings," Shea recounted after the game. "You know you have a no-hitter going, and so does everybody in the ballpark. That was the hard part, keeping focused and concentrating while your heart is pounding."

Shea recorded 5 strikeouts and 3 walks in the game.

This season Shea has fanned 40 in 57 innings and collected a 3-1 record with a 3.47 ERA.
