Tridents Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, January 20th, 1982 Bridgetown Tridents manager called today a "dark day" for his club. The Tridents were officially eliminated from playoff contention and will shift their focus to next season. "There are probably worse days in the history of the Bridgetown Tridents, but right now this feels bad," said. This is the 1st time in a row that the Tridents have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 1980. |
