Season Over for Rob Stansel in Palm Bay HS Monday, April 27th, 1970 The Palm Bay HS Air Riders will be minus Rob Stansel for about 4 months after the reliever suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Murfreesboro HS Hillcats. Stansel and Air Riders skipper had been hoping the post-game examination would show less damage than originally thought. Season-to-date Stansel has no saves in 4 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 7.71 ERA. |
