Williams Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games

The hot bat of Cretins center fielder Bob Williams continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 1-for-5 in today's 6-2 loss to the Captains at Brigadiers Ballpark.

"I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in."
Bob Williams grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Williams is hitting .377 this year with no home runs and 29 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .454, 15 walks and scored 25 times.
