There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Bob Leonard is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Louisville HS Vipers at Ballpark of Stockton HS today. The monster effort from the 17-year-old first baseman helped the Springdale HS Tides take the win, 16-5.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Vipers manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Bob Leonard hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Billy Vaughn in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jonathan Cleaver in the 8th and walked in the 9th.

In 25 games this season Leonard has batted at a .395 pace with 34 hits and 3 home runs.
