Adam Ladanyi Injured, Out for Season
Monday, May 4th, 1970
Bowling Green HS reliever Adam Ladanyi could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He exited yesterday's Country Club HS game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Ladanyi would be out 8-9 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

This season Ladanyi has made 14 relief appearances with 1 save. In 27.1 innings he has fanned 15 hitters and recorded 1 win and no losses with a 9.22 ERA.
