Patton Stretches Hit String to 20

Justin Patton of the North Charleston HS Fighting Falcons has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 2 hits in today's 12-2 triumph over Cary HS at Field of the Sixshooters.
"20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Patton said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Justin Patton flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
Patton is presently hitting at a .366 pace with 2 home runs and 28 RBIs. He has played in 31 games and scored 39 times.
