Green Belts Bunch of Base Hits Monday, May 11th, 1970 The Sunrise HS Nitros tripped up the Tuckahoe HS Thunder Bats 18-8 today. The Nitros were led by Jim Green, their 17-year-old right fielder. Green made life miserable for Tuckahoe HS pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Jim Green flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
