Flores Hurt, Listed DTD by Barbers Tuesday, May 12th, 1970 Jerrald Flores of the Suffolk HS Barbers is probably going to miss a day or two as a result of a torn meniscus that seems to be healing slowly. "I feel okay. Not one hundred percent, but I can go if the team needs me," the Suffolk HS star performer said. The team physician has said Flores's time off will be about 4 months or until he can play without pain, but a trip to the disabled list is not likely. Flores is currently batting .401 with 3 home runs and 43 RBIs. |
