6-Hit Game for Allport Thursday, April 2nd, 1970 The Clearwater HS Surge upended the Carol City HS Rascals at Jethros Ballpark today, thanks in large part to shortstop Mike Allport, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 6 hits in 6 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Surge to a 22-16 victory.
