Hesby Socks it to Steelhounds, Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, April 11th, 1970 5 times is the charm -- at least for Brian Hesby. The Miramar HS Rebels center fielder tore up the Lauderhill HS Steelhounds to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Greyhounds Ballpark today. The offensive onslaught from Hesby powered the Rebels to a 17-12 win. "Hesby was a tough out today," Lauderhill HS manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Brian Hesby singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and struck out in the 8th. Hesby is hitting at a .333 mark this season. His stats show no home runs, 8 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has played 11 games for the Rebels. View Boxscore |
