5-for-5 Day for Reppert Thursday, April 16th, 1970 Chris Reppert found his groove in today's game versus the Lauderhill HS Steelhounds and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Miami Beach HS Oilmen, as the club lost the game, 9-7. The 15-year-old catcher told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked." "I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Reppert said. Chris Reppert doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
