Annandale HS's Mark Hay Injured Sunday, April 19th, 1970 When Mark Hay was hurt against the Davie HS Badgers, the Annandale HS Pirhanas were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 15-year-old closer suffered bone chips in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Hay would miss 5-6 months of the season. This year Annandale HS reliever Hay has made 11 relief appearances and has 1 save. His record is 1-1 with 12 strikeouts in 12.2 innings and a 2.13 ERA. |
