Mizrahi 5-for-6 for Vipers
Sunday, April 19th, 1970
Louisville HS second baseman Aaron Mizrahi had a big day at Ballpark of Milwaukee HS today against the Kenner HS Liberty. The 18-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Vipers to a 11-5 triumph over Kenner HS.
"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Mizrahi said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
Aaron Mizrahi singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Mizrahi has collected 36 hits for the Vipers this year, 0 of them home runs. He has also netted 19 RBIs and scored 23 runs while batting .474.
