Yard Dawgs Chill Tucker's Hot Streak Saturday, April 25th, 1970 Danny Tucker's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games today as the Portsmouth HS Gryphons dropped their contest with the Deltona HS Yard Dawgs 3-1 at Horned Frogs Ballpark. Tucker failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Tucker spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In the 1970 season Tucker is hitting .406 with 2 home runs. |
