Streak Finally Over, McNeil Held Hitless
Sunday, April 26th, 1970
Greg McNeil of the Wilmington HS Thoroughbreds came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the second baseman, Wilmington HS dropped the game to the Clarksville HS Red Dragons 7-0.

"It was not a good day today," McNeil told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over."

Currently McNeil is batting .433 with 3 home runs and 25 RBIs.
