SL2's Star Player Named Monday, April 27th, 1970 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Conference 2 Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Taylor Everett for his red-hot week of hitting. The Kendall HS shortstop took home the trophy by splurging with 11 hits in 15 at-bats for a .733 batting average, driving in 8 runs and scoring 9 times.
