The star of the game for the Railers was second baseman Brian Jones. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for San Marcos HS's 16-10 triumph over the Seagulls. Brian Jones walked in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
