Price Batters Downey HS Big Time Saturday, May 2nd, 1970 T.J. Price said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Undertakers Ballpark, and it showed in the box score. The Everett HS left fielder had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Downey HS Ports, leading his club to victory, 15-4. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Price said later." T.J. Price hit a solo-shot off Danny Carrero in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Price has compiled a .373 batting average, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 34 runs. He has played in 28 games and scored 24 runs. View Boxscore |
