It's Over: Greyhounds Stop Davidson Saturday, May 9th, 1970 Brian Davidson's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 24 games today as the Union City HS Fire Fighters dropped their contest with the Temecula HS Greyhounds 11-1 at Ballpark of Austin HS. Davidson failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Davidson spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In 34 games this season Davidson has batted at a .405 pace with 64 hits and 5 home runs. |
