Valenti 5-for-6 Against Devil Bears Friday, April 3rd, 1970 San Rafael HS Sun Tropics center fielder Ken Valenti banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Alameda HS Devil Bears, 16-11. He went 5-for-6 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Valenti said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins."
