Riley on Fire, 5-for-7 Against Richmond HS Saturday, April 4th, 1970 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Arden-Arcade HS's 26-6 win over Richmond HS today, center fielder Tom Riley was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Minneapolis HS. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Riley said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Tom Riley singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
