Mendoza Caps Great Week Monday, April 6th, 1970 Sean Mendoza went on a week-long hitting spree against Conference 2 pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Indio HS center fielder battered the opposition for 15 hits, 3 home runs, 13 runs batted in and scored 12 runs. He hit .577 and posted a .621 on-base percentage. |
