Great Stroke: Castro Gets 5 Hits

All game long, West Covina HS's Bill Castro was rattling the walls at Ballpark of Columbus HS and banging out base hits against the San Clemente HS Donkeys. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Blue Ox had a 19-11 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 15-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Bill Castro hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 6th.
Looking at his present stats, Castro has compiled a .467 batting average in 6 games with a .529 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 13 runs.
