Big Day for Amador: Swats 5 Hits Tuesday, April 7th, 1970 It was a high-five day for Greg Amador, at least for a while. The Santa Clara HS right fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Rialto HS Oaks, but they were in short supply at the end, as Rialto HS took a 10-7 win. Amador finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the War Eagles couldn't hold off the Oaks. "Greg was hitting everything," said War Eagles manager . "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Greg Amador hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
