Imperials Keith Brubacher Down and Out for Year Wednesday, April 8th, 1970 When Keith Brubacher was hurt against the Fullerton HS Neptune, the Davis HS Imperials were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old third baseman suffered a broken kneecap running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Brubacher would miss 6-7 months of the season. Presently Brubacher is batting .333 and has collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs, .405 OBP and scored 8 runs. |
