"Not a bad day at the plate, 5-for-6," he said in the postgame interview. "Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average, and my salary, too." Jay Kline doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
