Schwenk Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, April 16th, 1970 Allen Schwenk of the Isotopes was unstoppable in today's 7-5 victory over the Newport Beach HS Heroes at Ballpark of Wichita HS. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Fountain Valley HS second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Allen Schwenk singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 10th.
