Gutierrez on Fire: 5-for-6 for San Rafael HS Sunday, April 19th, 1970 San Rafael HS second baseman Agustin Gutierrez had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Burbank (Los Angeles County) HS Emeralds at Emeralds Ballpark as the Sun Tropics picked up a 18-13 victory. "He was patient up there today," San Rafael HS skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Gutierrez has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Agustin Gutierrez flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
