Cardillo Batters Union City HS Big Time Friday, April 24th, 1970 Santa Barbara HS Phantoms second baseman Bill Cardillo really lit up the Union City HS Fire Fighters with a 5-hit barrage today at Ballpark of Austin HS -- a performance that sparked the Phantoms to a 16-5 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
