Butler Socks it to Pirhanas, Cracks 5 Hits Monday, April 27th, 1970 Sam Butler of the Riot was unstoppable in today's 20-13 victory over the Kalamazoo HS Pirhanas at Oakland HS Grounds. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Arlington Heights HS left fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Sam Butler grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ben Zaagman in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
