Jackson's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games

Daniel Jackson has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Bloomington HS center fielder picked up 2 more today against the Hammond HS Crows and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Emperors won the game 10-9.

"Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being."
Daniel Jackson singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.

Jackson is hitting .422 in 1970 with 25 RBIs and 7 home runs.
