Season Ends for Eric Waldroop of Livonia HS Wednesday, April 29th, 1970 Disappointing news today for Livonia HS Sand Gnats fans. Eric Waldroop was hurt colliding with a player at a base in their game against the Taylor HS Sky Chiefs and has a torn back muscle. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the shortstop out at least 4 months. So far this season, Waldroop has recorded a .298 batting average with 14 hits, 1 home run, 11 RBIs, 6 runs scored and a .441 OBP. |
