Velasquez Awarded April's SL2 Top Bat Prize Friday, May 1st, 1970 It's a time for celebration in Duluth HS as Luis Velasquez has just walked away with April's Conference 2 Batter of the Month award. He socked 39 hits in 101 at-bats to put up a .386 batting average, 11 home runs, 53 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
