Star of the Week Awarded in SL1 Monday, May 4th, 1970 Nobody in the Conference 1 had a better week than Sam Butler... Noooo-body! That's why he was voted the Player of the Week. During the week the Arlington Heights HS left fielder compiled a .545 batting average (18-for-33) with 3 home runs, 23 runs batted in and scored 11 runs. This year Butler is batting .410 with 3 home runs. He has scored 24 runs and driven in 31. |
